We created this website to solve the industry shortcomings that we experienced during an engine overhaul project. Now aircraft owners can enjoy a single source of pricing, reviews, and knowledge for their engine overhauls and inspections. They can save time, money, and make informed decisions.
We believe strongly in helping others in need. When someone books through Overhaul Bids, we will dedicate 10% of our profits to one of four organizations of choice. Each year we will ask our users to vote on the next group of options. This is our way of aligning our philanthropy with our customers’ and shops’. What’s important to you is what’s important to us.
Alan Depauw holds SEL, MEL and Instrument Airplane licenses as a commercial pilot and flight instructor with over 3,500 hours. He started flying in high school, has a degree in Professional Pilot Technology and became a commercial pilot at age 18. He started his business career after receiving his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship in 2010. He currently lives in Fishers, Indiana just outside of Indianapolis with his wife and three kids.
All of our shops are in the United States. Since most engines are put into crates and shipped to shops, you can use our services from anywhere in the world. Shipping expenses are cheaper than you may think (usually less than $350 each way).
